I don't think i'll do that again until I get some better wheels and tires. Then a week after that I did 150 in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo. It was so quiet and stable at speed it was insane. The Cayenne Turbo has ridiculous amounts of power. My friends dad is getting either a DB9 or a Bentley Continetal GT soon so hopefully i'll get a chance to top my record down in Vegas. | | | 01-10-2006, 09:18 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT 143 on my Yamaha YZR600 Vance & Hines replica. 140 in my Acura Integra. 120ish in the 318ti on a deserted hwy against a 5.0 Mustang. In my '84 rabbit GTI i once hit 118 In my '86 GTI I hit 120 w/ 2 passengers side by side w/ an IROC Z on I-70 outside Columbus, OH at 2 AM. Got up to 130 in my stroked '81 Honda Accord On a closed circuit straightaway. Our ti's are supposed to be able to hit somewhere around 120-128 in Euro form....anyone know a cheap to get rid of the governor? __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
