on rare instances i like to live on the edge. i only do this when i'm by myself. i did my fastest in my ti last night. 105mph. she was very smooth with no vibrations. i would have pushed it more but i ran out of passing lane. my ti has the stock engine. the fastest i ever did was 118mph in my old 1990 acura integra. well thats it for me. maybe one day i'll push the ti a little further.

I did 120 in my ti a month or so ago. I don't think i'll do that again until I get some better wheels and tires. Then a week after that I did 150 in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo. It was so quiet and stable at speed it was insane. The Cayenne Turbo has ridiculous amounts of power. In my old Turbocharged XR4ti.....don't know since the speedo was blank after 85MPH.
In my '84 rabbit GTI i once hit 118
In my '86 GTI I hit 120 w/ 2 passengers side by side w/ an IROC Z on I-70 outside Columbus, OH at 2 AM.
Got up to 130 in my stroked '81 Honda Accord On a closed circuit straightaway.
Our ti's are supposed to be able to hit somewhere around 120-128 in Euro form....anyone know a cheap to get rid of the governor? __________________
