Default What's your oil of choice...

...and why?

Seems that everyone has a favorite and a story about why.

What's yours?

Thanks.

amsoil racing (red oil) for the Ti's 3.2L and Mobil 1 for the sedan M3.

I use amsoil as I kinda beat on the Ti.

I use the 5W 40 for the street almost all year along because of our climate. The 0W 50 for the track. It is think like water so it keeps the lubricant moving through the engine during track conditons. Also makes cold starting so easy.

Amsoil 5W-40. I have used the 10W-40 with now problems. They came out with the 5W-40 Euro formula so I switched. Good stuff. I try to change every 6k miles even though they say you can go farther. I recommend it.

How many miles do you drive in one month?

I change my synthetic every 9000 and oil filter every 4500.
