Troll or Sleeper car?

I really like the idea of a troll or sleeper car, after watching the "No F%CK's Given rx7" video, I started to think a little bit. I love the idea of a sleeper 318ti, I have always loved sleepers. My dad and I built a 318ti M swap and it had the stock body with some style 32's I believe, and people would want to race in their riced out civics all the time and when they got beaten all the way up to 130 they would do their ricer fly by and think for some reason they won. I Just bought a white e36 with acs wing on it, with some nice BBS style 5's that need repair work to look good again, it has nurburg stickers all over it, and to me it's a ricer (In the sense that it has the m44, and looks fast, but just isn't). The wing has grown on me how ever. Ok, sorry I got off topic a bit, mainly, I want to know if anyone has purposely like sanded parts of their body or what ever to make your car look like a POS. I honestly don't think I could do that to my car, or my parts car with a nice body. To me I like a clean 318ti, sort of low profile. I have a m52 that I was going to do a budget turbo with an hx35 and have around 350hp or so. I don't know if I want to swap it into my 318ti that looks like it should be fast, or my e30 coupe that looks like it definitely shouldn't.
