I don't race or anything like that, but I do drive fairly far/often for my daily commute. I've heard OEM pads might be a good choice. Any other suggestions for BMW brake pads? | | | 01-26-2012, 09:48 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | For daily driving needs they are fine. Check the big parts houses out ie, Pelican, BMP, BavAuto, Tischer most will match costs | | | 01-26-2012, 10:02 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | I forgot which brand, but go to Pelican Parts and look up the pads made by the BMW oem supplier. It's the same pad as OEM, but in a different box for a whole lot less money. | | | 01-26-2012, 10:10 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Fl Posts: 1,353 | Jurid, Pagid, and Textar are all OEM BMW. I carry them all. They work well bust dust a lot. Akebono Ceramics are what I use on all my cars. They work just as good (if not better than OEM) and they don't dust. Buying pads direct from the dealer is a waste of money. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Although, +1 on the Akebono Ceramics and +1 on buying pads directly from the dealer...
