Mcaffee unhappy about some links and internal content.

My virus scanner is detecting doubleclick.net links off the web server.

I suspect its from the ads.

So far not getting any direct virus hits but a couple forums I've been on have had doubleclick infest them...

google ads use doubleclick.

Mcafee Security is anal. Doubleclick cookies are not viruses, they are tracking cookies and half the sites in the land use them. Tracking cookies will not harm your computer, though a lot of companies use them in such a way as to raise privacy concerns.

Close enough... Every time I start seeing double click get heavy my e-mail spam goes up...

Funny thing is that It was a minor alert a few weeks ago, now its a major alert... Hmm.

I know doubleclick is not pearly white in their tactics...

All my spam gets directed to my gmail account that I hardly use.

my kaspersky virus software was getting hit with this too.. and on other sites, a few weeks ago.
