The car was working great until it overheated... my mechanic said the head gasket needs to be replaced... this would be a great buy for someone who can address the current problem. Asking $2500... will consider reasonable offer. Details: 136K miles. Morea Green body in excellent condition no rust. NEW tires (about a month old), Leather seats, sunroof, Automatic transmission, ABS, traction control, AC, AM/FM Radio, 6 Disc CD Changer, and computer work fine. No personal checks. Send me a note if you have any questions. Like most 318's teh headliner is sagging... thanks to the sunroof it hasn't been an issue. The liner on the windows is falling off as well... my son glued one side and I didn't like results... so I haven't doen anything with the other side. If intersted I can provide any detail photos you like... just let me know. | | | 08-19-2009, 11:13 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Rodeo, CA Posts: 226 | Wow, that is one clean ti. Hard to find out here in CA, wish you weren't so far away... I just bought a dark green 96 ti, and I just turned 140K on it this week. I also, had read the original post. Overheating can vary greatly from slightly higher than normal operating conditions, to a damaged engine requiring much repair work. As the post did not go into detail, my question was to obtain additional information from the owner of the car. It simply may need a head gasket, which is not an insurmountable task. The asking price may not be bad, relative to the needed repairs. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
