There was a monstrosity of a gap in between the top of of the corner and the fender. I ended up wripping off the black liner off my amber corners because they were thicker then the ones the came on the smoked ones that I just got and glued them to the new corner. Did anybody else have this problem? __________________ | | | 10-18-2008, 07:50 PM | #2 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Quote: Originally Posted by noga Got my DDM smoked corners yesterday in the mail, went out to install them today and the fitment just totally sucked. It made it a little bit better/not as much of a gap, but its obvious theyre not the correct ones. I think I may just rock them for a little while and then order another set, that saying that theyre really not the right ones. And Ill go take some pics tomorrow morning when its brighter outside. __________________ | | | 10-19-2008, 02:07 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Lol this should be funny __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. They can never stay put. I am in the middle of doing the zip tie mod because mine keep hanging loose everywhere I go. | | | 10-19-2008, 06:04 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | are the tabs broken or something? my tabs are actually broken to but I have duct tape | | | 10-19-2008, 06:36 PM | #12 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Drill a small hole in the middle tab of the Corner light, and in the tab where it connects to the headlight. Then zip tie very tight them together to have a sure plush connection | | | 10-19-2008, 06:38 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I don't have any tab at all, but it is held in by the slider/rail type things on the top and bottom | | | 10-19-2008, 06:51 PM | #14 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | that won't help any as soon as they duct tape looses stickyness | | | 10-20-2008, 03:55 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | I have the same problem with on of my corner lights.
