5-speed or auto tranny?

If you have a 5 speed, it won't work. The car becomes totally useless. That leaves you with no choice but to sell it to me for let's say......$2000.00.

If you have an auto tranny, disregard my comments, and wait for someone else to reply

you can actually wire up your own remote start on a manual but let me warn you! you better have it set so it wont start if its in gear or ALWAY ALWAYS remember to put it in neutral.

my fiance works there all the employees get the same discount which is 10% over cost and they sell the laptops and tvs just over cost and they really get you on accessories.

you can get like 10-30 dollars off a laptop or tv

I knew that, but didn't want to recommend that to a newbie.

Hi Ada,

I would suggest you go to an authorized DEI (Viper or Clifford) installer to do the job right and with warranty. If they mess up or fried your wiring then the business will have insurance to pay to fix it. The product is only warrantied if installed by an authorized place. The LCD remote is good but the basic plain remote plus power locks can get you by.

How much you were looking to spend for the remote starter integrated with the power locks? I can refer you to a local alarm place if you like. You can always call and see how much best buy or circuit city will install one for. They always have sale on them. Just make sure you get an experienced guy to do the job.
