I will have pics when it gets home tomorrow. It is exactly the same as my car was when I first got it. The license plates are like only a couple of numbers off. It has high miles and the interior is in pretty used shape, but the body is straight and all the key parts look solid. Don't plan on any wild upgrades right now, just getting it up to par to be a daily. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. As far as ti sightings, I saw a nice silver, post-95 Sport today zipping by at Costco in Rancho Cordova. Very clean exterior condition. Aside from the M-Tech spoilers, were any others options on the car? This one looked to have a 3 piece on it. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! The white gauge face is an overlay that came on the swapped car's cluster, I added the trim rings. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I have been depositing what is left of my hair into the sagging fabric of my headliner for a few years now. Today was the last straw... I removed the hell handles, visors and dissolved visor clips and dropped the saggy mess out of the car. Pulled the fabric off, and found bits of the nasty foam remaining. Went to local Homo-Depot and bought a cheap scrub brush and took the panel into the neighbor's woods. There I scrubbed the foam off. Followed with an Acetone wash to get it less sticky, and then two cans of semi-gloss black paint. Followed that up with a can of semi-gloss black "texture paint" that I had left over from painting light fixture bases around the outside of the house. It doesn't look half bad! After it dries a few days, I will pop it back in. The smell is still a bit strong... Other than that, the car still goes like stink! | | | 04-17-2012, 02:53 AM | #2246 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Ft Defiance, AZ Posts: 686 | dropped my baby off at the garage for a diagnostics check on why she's running rough. she had been sitting for a little while so I'm assuming its nothing major but i still don't like it when i can't figure out whats wrong with my car __________________ 1999 BMW 318ti 2005 MINI Cooper S | | | 04-17-2012, 03:39 AM | #2247 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | took my rear M tech diffuser off and dropped it off at a vinyl shop to be covered in carbon fiber vinyl. it was all gouged up and scratched so this was cheaper than getting a new one | | | 04-17-2012, 08:08 AM | #2248 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Chicago Posts: 172 | Completed Brakes ( pads and slotted rotors) Clean all rust and crap from surroundings areas. rotated tires, inspected all areas, ordered o2 removal socket, did'nt want to chance it with normal wrench, noted brakes pipes are in need of replacing very soon.
