When I go my car I got rid of the locks the first day. They seem to be more of a pain than they are worth. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-28-2010, 10:31 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: plymouth Posts: 2 | yh iv checked the compartment although half of the equipment is missing like the jack etc mite have to weld a nut to it to release them i think! | | | 12-29-2010, 12:48 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Miami, Florida Posts: 483 | Welcome, that is a nice color, not very common and clean too. __________________ | | | 12-29-2010, 01:39 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | hey dude, nice to have someone fairly local on the boards... My bolt had the pattern on the outside, yours has a pattern on the inside of the bolt. Sorry! Do you have any wheel shops in the area? That's where I got my key. __________________ McLaren F1 - BMW M Power S70/2 | | | 01-03-2011, 09:24 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | Quote: Originally Posted by daz318ti is this anything like yours? iv been told you can wack a 1/4 drive extension in the smaller sized locks but this is more like a 3/8 size | I'll have a look at mine tomorrow and see if they look the same; if it does I can probably pop down your way sometime and let you use mine so you can at least get the lock nuts off. Since our cars look virtually identical it might be fun to get some pics of the twins together for the 2012 318ti calendar | | | 01-03-2011, 11:46 PM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: plymouth Posts: 2 | Quote: Originally Posted by vsonix I'll have a look at mine tomorrow and see if they look the same; if it does I can probably pop down your way sometime and let you use mine so you can at least get the lock nuts off. I've only ever seen one other with the M-sport pack and it was a red one. I've also seen a silver 318ti with AC Schnitzer gear on it a couple of times, and there's a Boston Green one round the corner from me but I don't think I've seen it move in over six months which is a crying shame as it looks quite clean. Anyway I'll check out the nut and keep you posted mate. | | | 01-06-2011, 05:52 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | I think my locking nuts are the same as yours but it's hard to be 100% certain just cos it's kinda dark out. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
