I do like this one, atleast in this picture. I like the fact that it goes all the way to the edges of rear. I also have a couple of pics of this spoiler when it was originally installed on clex2's car before he bought it from Ben. Gotta look for those. | | | 01-02-2006, 05:31 AM | #35 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Nebraska Posts: 136 | Found one more of the Hartge. Not very good detail, but the car is pretty cool. Not sure what engine they had put in this one. Maybe a V8 or V12? Or maybe only RD put a V12 in the Compact. | | | 01-02-2006, 05:54 AM | #36 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | Quote: Originally Posted by L84THSKY I'll give you a hint, it starts with E, ends in Y and has 4 letters. | was the source on ebay a regular reseller of hartge parts or just someone sellling a one-off piece they happend to have? if the former, do you remember the seller's ebay name? what did you pay for it? I heard it was retired to the scrap heap.... I had saved several pics of it over time as I was researching modifications to TI's. I came close to buying it but in the end just could not find the time to make it happen. Vitolo had said he was buying it and I started looking for another. Shortly thereafter I had already found a one owner '95 318ti CS. And guess what, its red too. I prefer silver but I took what i could find close to home. | | | 01-04-2006, 05:15 AM | #43 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Walnut Creek, CA Posts: 642 | Funny thing, I would have prefered silver too. Nice, clean, and not as noticeable. You win some, you lose some, and we could not have gotten a real CS, cuz they only come in black and red. In this case, I prefer the red. __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | OBDII EWS delete | mooseheadm5 | Engine Swaps | 12 | 03-28-2007 08:30 PM | |
