The idle is a little rough but the rpm is stable at 800-900. Should it be higher? Why the rough seeming idle with no fluctuating idle? I am new BMW but love the car as it has a cool California roof. Thanks ahead | | | 10-24-2017, 11:03 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: TampaBay, Florida Posts: 104 | start removing at air box, remove/inspect and clean, thru throttle body, then remove plenum and change out the pcv-ccv. use new gasket and vacuumn hoses. only use mass air flow cleaner when you do the maf sensor, and carb cleaner is ok for the AFN - IAC -tps. Replace the air filter too. Cleanliness is King. After you've put her all back together, Enjoy your run like new Toy! I Love taking things apart! use tooth brush & Q-tips Watch some DIY 's on utube. They do wear out on cars this old and can cause some drivetrain vibration. Good luck! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
