Default Heated seats ?

Hi all,
I have just found a harness under the front drivers seat and was thinking this "must" be for heated seats!
There are no switches in sight but why have a harness under the seat if not to heat it ?

I have a 318 ti sport edition 1999 so any advise would be most welcome guys.

Thanks , Mart.

Default

if you do not have the switches, then no.

the wires are for your airbags. there are swiches inside your seat and inside your seatbelt connector that tell your car if you are:

1. sitting in your seat
2. have your seat belt on

if you disconnect them from your seat, your airbag lights will light up and you will need a mechanic to turn them off.

if you have 2 harnesses, the 2nd one would be for your heated seats, but you would most def have buttons under your window buttons where your shifter is.

hope that helps -mike
