Hi, Just bought my 1998 318ti in artic silver with red cloth interior, 23000 miles from new with full bmw service history. Optional extras include "lux pack" includes parking sensors etc. Private number plate "R800 JOY". Really impressed, couple of niggles airbag light and mileage display not illuminated, if anyone can help pls get in touch. | | | 04-03-2011, 02:34 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: South Central, MN Posts: 1,065 | If the mileage display doesn't work, how do you know it has 23000 miles? I'd say you have one hell of a special Ti if the mileage is accurate. Please post pics __________________ | | | 04-03-2011, 04:01 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: UK Posts: 24 | When I first got it the mileage was brightly lit, now its like looking at a shadow, perhaps i'm being too picky! | | | 04-03-2011, 04:04 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by fuddsi When I first got it the mileage was brightly lit, now its like looking at a shadow, perhaps i'm being too picky! | Bulb needs to be replaced. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-03-2011, 04:36 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: UK Posts: 24 | D'oh! Do you see many on the roads in the U.K.? | | | 04-06-2011, 09:37 AM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: UK Posts: 24 | There are several where i am, which is surprising as its only a small town. I think german engineering is famous for its reliability, plus they can be bought fairly cheaply now, is probably the reason. The replacement for the ti, the "one series" is also popular. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
