I think price would depend on other mods. You mention suspension. Brakes, exhaust, diff, transmisson? Who did the install? CEL? Not that I am in a position to make a purchase, the only reason I would want a transplant is for the track. There are some restrictions on open air roofs so that would be a negative to me. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-25-2010, 11:18 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Depending on how good the chassis' condition is, id easily put a 9k price tag on there especially if its a full vorshlag setup. Those are very pricey and top notch. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 11-29-2010, 08:07 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Northern California Posts: 85 | Well, as far as I know is my stuff is "top notch" It's pretty much an 00 M Roadster with a 318ti body. Supersprint exhaust Install was a reputable BMW mechanic C.A.I. Mason & Dinan bars Recaro seats BBS / Contours (rims) That's from the top of my head. I'd have to get the full list, but that should be enough for now. Just needed a rough estimate. | | | 11-29-2010, 09:20 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | 9k is possible if you find a buyer that really wants a swapped Ti. However, most buyers are going to see that you can get comparable year M3s for the same price and most of the time mods don't add much value at all. You can get good quality M3s dime a dozen in Florida right now for less than 9k. I see ones with superchargers listing for 10k. There are several different suspension setups that Vorshlag sells. The AST4100 monotubes are nice, but comparable to PSS9 or Koni SA coilovers. The 5000 series cost twice that. The 4100's maybe add 500-800 to the value, 5000 more if it is being sold to a track junkie. All in all, mods lose a ton of value on selling the car.
