Default E36 Coupe interior into an E36 Compact??

As per the title really...

looking for a new interior for my 318ti

its currently half leather - black and red.

wondered if the e36 coupe seats will go into the compact.

Im after a full red leather beauty

the coupe front seats bolt right in, rear seats have to be modified, door panels don't fit at all

sounds like you've got red millpoint cloth, I'd keep it, that's a pretty sought after setup here in the states

How much modifications do you have to do to get the rear seats to fit?

also interested in this guys... I just picked up some mint leathers for the front and the rear looks like its never even been sat in. He is going to hold the rears for me until I can find out if they can fit somehow.

It looks like the side bolsters will fit but i couldn't get mine off, too lazy to unbolt that plastic bolt/washer thing holding them in the bottom last night as it was already getting dark when I got there to pull the seats out.

Can anyone confirm even the side bolsters? what is the part that won't fit? the entire backrest section or the bench? or both?

I'd just get the rear reupholstered to match the fronts. Shouldn't cost much more and at least you'd have the correct and functional rear seat for the Ti. FWIW, I traded out my millpoint sport seats for dove grey vaders. Then I picked up a grey leather rear Ti seat for a hundred bucks and it matched the dove vaders perfectly. You can easily find a grey or black leather rear seat from a parted out Ti.

has anyone done it with any success though? Id like to see whats involved and the final product...
if these don't pan out, i wont be doing anything to them - only got the fronts cause they were mint and local.. it will soon be rear seat delete & find a cage for her, i rarely put anyone in the back anyway these days. If I had another car, I think I would have done it already.

but if anyone knows of someone who has managed to get them in, please point me in their direction.
