The orginal Compact headlights have only lenses, no projectors.
But I did a convertion from orginal to H1, these headlights have lenses and projectors.

Well running HID bulbs in standard halogen housings is not only dangerous, it's illegal here in the US. So please don't recommend it to the youngsters here as it may cause their vehicles to catch on fire, cause a serious accident or cause them to get pulled over and ticketed. Besides that, it gives people who actually mod their cars with proper equipment a bad name. When the police see a car driving down the street with aftermarket lights blinding everyone on the road, they don't care what housings you're using, they simply see it as aftermarket equipment and will eventually ban it all together.

Thanks.

Depos aren't DOT approved anyway, so technically it's already banned

I know, but at least they function properly. Right now cops don't seem to be hassling people for them, but if you get a few people who think it's okay to blind people because they're too cheap to purchase the proper housings, I'm sure they'll start enforcing the laws which will ruin it for everyone. I seen this dub'd out SUV the other day with purple lights flooding the whole 4 lane street with annoying purple light, I felt like chasing him down and calling the cops.
