I'll be moving from Oregon at the end of the summer to Stephenville, Texas, to start school so the car needs to go. 1997 318ti 95,xxx miles, 5 speed manual, completely stock. Front end rebuilt after wreck by Professional Auto Body in Bend have receipts from all work done. All damage was cosmetic besides the radiator. Air bags weren't even deployed. The bad- Brake light is on from not replacing sensor when I changed the rears ($15 part) CEL is coming on sporadically, but I haven't had it read. Has fogs that need to be wired. A few stains in the cloth interior. The good- M3 front bumper, M3 mirrors, Alpine CD player and Infinity reference series speakers, DEPO headlights, clear corners, blacked out grills, smoked side markers, California top, Stock 15" rims, cruise control, power everything. I'm asking $4,500 which I think is a pretty fair price considering it is what I paid for it. If you want to talk about price PM me. | | | 05-27-2009, 02:59 PM | #2 | Z3 Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Usa Posts: 660 | Interested.. I will alert some friends and family of mine to see if anyone is interested. I would buy it if I had the cash to spare. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 05-28-2009, 02:42 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Quote: Originally Posted by Bozola Interested.. I can get pics of those too they are Hankook winter pike tires. The summer tires that are currently on it are Toyo Premium Touring 800 Ultra. | | | 05-30-2009, 04:15 AM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Texas Posts: 6 | Oh wow! Big City of Stephenville!!! Took some classes there myself. Buy you a junked up truck and keep the Ti. Trust me. If its paid off, then why not just keep it? (The Ti) I drive out there to see my parents a lot. Depends on my mood, I take the Ti out for a road trip. My other car is a Honda Element. The trip is an easy interstate drive from DFW. Just chill.... Good luck with school and the move. | | | 05-30-2009, 06:40 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 237 | Quote: Originally Posted by stolibeaux Oh wow! Well honestly Stephenville (self proclaimed cowboy capital of the world) isn't very "luxury" (if you can call a ti luxury) car friendly. I'm ashamed to say I have black smoked my fair share of people in BMW's and Mercedes just because the cars are what they are. I miss driving a truck anyways... I liked my junked up truck more than I like the ti... It fits my personality a lot better too (I'm 6'5" and like wearing blue jeans, belt buckles, and trucker hats) I'll probably be getting a nice 2nd gen. Dodge Cummins work truck cause I'll be working for a cattle company hauling stock. Yes the car is paid off, but I couldn't afford to have two vehicles and be in college. | | | 06-10-2009, 07:15 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 237 | I found out today that the CEL was just the gas cap. There was also an old code for the passenger buckle, but both were cleared. | | | 06-12-2009, 06:34 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Denver Posts: 111 | 'Cuse me for being a ti noob, but does this have a limited slip? | | | 06-12-2009, 06:56 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 237 | No no LSD for her. I thought about upgading it with one, but things have changed so that won't be happening. Not sure how hard it would be to find an LSD anyways... | | | 08-05-2009, 07:52 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: HOUSTON tx.
