I change my own oil (the lights never get reset, I don't want to have to buy a tool) and it is constantly on the second one to the left (the square is yellow) but has never hit the red. John, there is a simple trick to resetting the light if you change your own oil, can be done with a wire or paper clip. I will look it up later... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I actually use a piece of copper wire bent to a horseshoe shape with about 1/2 inch of insulation stripped off each end. Works perfect. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. J/K, BTW the paperclip trick works fine as wolferj said, I do it all the time. Turn the key to position 2. Place a paperclip in pin#'s 7 & 19 on the 20 pin diagnostic port in the engine bay, wait 20 seconds, remove paperclip, check lights, remove key. | | | 05-11-2009, 06:30 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 I'd part it out ASAP!!!! | Agreed.
