lol yea it took me a while to figure it out until by mistake i hit the wiper again and it turned off after that. so yea you just gotta push it forward again and it will wipe one more time then its off after that wipe

LOL, I just finally remembered to look for this , because I couldnt figure out how to get the buggers to turn off either, short of shutting it off.
