Default How old are these H&R Sports?

I bought these from a gentleman on Craigslist, the leftover remains from his supercharged 318ti project. He decided to go with GC coilovers before installing these. Anyway, he didn't remember how long ago he bought them. They're purple colored.

How old are these, and how do they differ from the current H&R Sports (aside from being linear). Pics:

The springs seem to be the non-progressive type (very even spacing between the coils), more sport than street... probably a little stiff for daily driving, but very nice none the less... Don't know if H&R puts different colors on each different springs, though..

That part number is for the sport spring set according to their site. All the pictures they have show the sports being black, but that doesn't mean anything. I'll be an ass and say they can't be more than 13 years old Here's their number if you decide to call. (888) 827-8881

I ordered the H&R Sport/Bilstein combo from BMP and recieved these springs less than a month ago, so they can't be that old.

http://www.bmpdesign.com/product-exe...earch_model/52

They're pictured as blue there but the ones I recieved in the mail are the same magenta color and they have a different box but read almost the exact same:
