Default BMW equivalent of VAG-COM: OBD2

Hi,

Sorry to ask such a simple question and apologies if this is a repeated thread, but would appreciate some advice on the favoured OBD2 PC Software for BMWs, for reading and deleting fault codes from the ECU and other controllers.

i.e. What is the BMW equivalent of VAG-COM ?
Regards,
MB7

I believe what you want to use is a Peake tool to read codes, BMW doesnt really have a system quite like VAG-COM (although I wish we did).
