Can't be there today. I'm busy being antisocial (working) in Colo Springs all day. I just caught up on the last day's posts. Geez, "Big schmO" (named changed to protect the guilty) really sucks. For years, we've always gone there (buddy worked there). One year they locked my keys in the car. One year they did our accord at the same time and switched the tires. One year they put the wrong size on (they say it was an accident). Of course, I didn't notice until my monthly tire check (3-4 weeks later). Then, I had to flip on what my husband calls my "&itch switch". (Ask your girls---we all have one). After two weeks of berating them, threats of tv stations, etc., they gave me the difference in cash. I'd forgotten all about it because it had been so long ago. It never occurred to me that my speedometer would be off. Cool, I have a built-in speeding excuse.... Thanks for taking care of me, guys! | | | 04-01-2008, 11:24 PM | #49 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | Quote: Originally Posted by mfixit Cool, I have a built-in speeding excuse....
