Default strut bushing/bearing

Is it necessary to replace the strut mount bearing when replacing front shocks? I spoke with bavauto and they advised me to replace those as well as the rear shock mounts and rubber bushings. Is all this really necessary or was he just trying to upsale me?

WOw 4days and not one person has an opinion. Just trying to get some much needed info.
I have recently purchased a set of Mtech springs and the rep at bav auto ask if my car had the sport suspension should I tell them yes when ordereing shocks since I will be installing the springs at the same time.

Replace them. Nothing rubber lasts forever, it's always best to replace the rubber and plastic bits when you have the chance.
