Hi all - just installed a Radio/CD/Sat Nav unit in the dash. BUT what is the best route for the Sat Nav aerial wire ? - preferably from on the dash, in through the passenger airbag cover and then where ? OR from the outside ? - what is the best route ? How did you do it ? - thanks | | | 11-03-2007, 11:19 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Minehead, Somerset, UK Posts: 89 | no-one got Sat-Nav ? | | | 11-03-2007, 11:30 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Toledo, OHIO Posts: 332 | post some pics __________________ 99 black ti sport | | | 11-04-2007, 02:10 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Minehead, Somerset, UK Posts: 89 | Hi - not sure pics will help - thought the description would be sufficient ? The aerial just lies on the dash close to the passenger airbag cover. If you know how to drop the glove locker then it all becomes very easy - I just wanted to find out how others had done it. | | | 11-04-2007, 02:36 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Toledo, OHIO Posts: 332 | no no pics of the Radio/CD/Sat Nav unit installed. This has a B&W screen which isn't so pretty but it works well. The clock is a modified one from a E36 saloon - the digital one was all but invisible in daylight. There is another thread on this modification. Sorry the steering wheel is on the wrong side ! | | | 11-04-2007, 01:09 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Minehead, Somerset, UK Posts: 89 | sorry - I've put the pics in higher up the thread - regards sfj642 | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
