I know a couple of the members put one on a while ago but I couldnt find the pics in the search. Ive been hanging around a Iowan German car forum that is mostly run by VWs and got the idea to try it myself. Its a cheap mod but Id like to see it anyway before I do it. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 06-21-2007, 06:51 PM | #2 | doesn't care about you. Usually I would say the same thing about the lips but one guy whos a member here and on bf.c did it and it looked pretty good. I just cant find the pics. It makes the car look super low but Im assuming he had a drop too. He did it about a year ago and a few members tried it out so Im assuming someone here has pics of it. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 06-23-2007, 01:47 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: PA Posts: 89 | hmm i didnt think american versions of the mk3s came with a lip, we might be thinking of the same lip tho. either way find some pics i would like to see this also. | | | 06-23-2007, 01:52 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Shediac, N.B. IMO it looks awesome for 20$ Here are some pics : Front/side view Side view Front Sorry but the car was pretty dirty in the two last pics. Edit: The lip is made from tough OEM plastic so it doesn't break when it rubs and boy does it rub... hehe __________________ 1995 Canadian Spec Schwarz II Ti Base Model.... 5spd, Untinted Windows, Bilstein Sports, Bav Auto Springs, E36 Sport Wheels, 225/50 Fuzion HRi's, MK3 Jetta VR6 Front Lip, Cosmos Racing Short ram intake, Luk Clutch kit, Apexcone projectors, DDM 6000K HID, Shortened shift knob, Pioneer stereo, Autopage Alarm | | | 06-23-2007, 01:55 AM | #9 | Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: PA Posts: 89 | how easily did that fit on ? i have a euro vr lip laying around thats my friends, i should try to mount it on to see how it looks in person. | | | 06-23-2007, 01:56 AM | #10 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Dude I was just getting ready to post a link to one of your old threads, but you beat me to it,lol! http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthrea...&highlight=lip __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 06-23-2007, 02:19 AM | #11 | Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Shediac, N.B. After this you drill 15-20 holes and put some stainless steel screws. It takes time and is done with the bumper off the car... __________________ 1995 Canadian Spec Schwarz II Ti Base Model.... 5spd, Untinted Windows, Bilstein Sports, Bav Auto Springs, E36 Sport Wheels, 225/50 Fuzion HRi's, MK3 Jetta VR6 Front Lip, Cosmos Racing Short ram intake, Luk Clutch kit, Apexcone projectors, DDM 6000K HID, Shortened shift knob, Pioneer stereo, Autopage Alarm | | | 06-23-2007, 02:21 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Yeah, that looks hot.
