More reliable is to refer on weights between 1240-1290 kgr depending on the equipment and the type of transmission (manual or automatic) | | | 03-11-2007, 12:11 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Southern California Posts: 420 | Quote: Originally Posted by CirrusSR22 From memory, I think my 96 is listed at about 2,650 lbs. for the manual transmission, and about 2,770 for the automatic. | The above is correct, I just saw the specks last week in a Automag and it listed the 318ti averaging 2700lbs. __________________ "Success is Never Final, Defeat is Never Permanent, it is the Courage to Continue that Matters!" - Winston Churchill Mothman [SIGPIC] | | | 03-11-2007, 01:42 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | a nice trick : check your owners manual its in there, i saw it the other day but i can't recall the exact number. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 03-11-2007, 04:35 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | My manual says with driver and full tank of gas is around 2760 or something. | | | 03-11-2007, 05:54 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by pnosker My manual says with driver and full tank of gas is around 2760 or something. | I dont know about the driver part. Cuz the book doesnt know how much the driver weighs. Also, if the book is talking about a female, you need to add 5lbs to 2760 so itll be like an estimate of 2765 for a male because of the extra 5 pounds of dangleling meat. | | | 03-11-2007, 08:23 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | at the track, I got 2643 car 1/2 tank of fuel..driver addes 155lbs | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
