Default In search of CD Changer Hardware

I'm looking for the mounting kit and/or bracket to install an older style Pioneer BMW 6 CD Changer in the back of my 318ti. The part numbers are:
Installation Kit: 82 11 1 469 203
Bracket: 82 11 1 468 292
The local BMW dealer parts department searched the North America and Germany BMW parts database and found none. These are old parts, probably obsolete. So he suggested searching web.
Does anyone have photos they could post of the BMW 6 CD Changer installed even if it is the newer (correct) Alpine unit?
Thanks!

I have an Alpine unit in my trunk,i bought it myself and used the supplied brackets. I just mounted it to the back of the seat in the trunk. You can look in my gallery but your talking about a different bracket. I got to remove my cd changer since i have no use for it anymore.

Tyler,

Thanks. I searched your Gallery and saw your CD changer mounted to the right rear seat back. Nice clean installation.

The cabling for my changer comes out from the rear of the driver's side rear wheel well area. I was hoping to see an installation/mounting that would be to the side, some where behind the driver's side rear tail light assembly.

Well thats where my wire comes out,i would've liked to mount it where your saying but didn't have a bracket for that. Since i hardly ever use my trunk it didn't matter that i was putting it there.

Right now the CD Changer is straped down to the trunk floor. Like you, the previous owner didn't use the trunk much. My wife uses the car alot, grocery shopping, etc. I concerned she'll damage the changer or spill something back there.

So I'm a searchin'. Nothing on e-Bay.
I'll put this request out at other BMW message boards.

Try these part #s:
65 12 8 360 671 (bracket)
07 11 9 915 013 (bolts x4)

Mounts in the factory location (top left) of the "trunk." Fits my Pioneer CDX-something just fine. Picture here, might take a bit for me to get some. Wicked busy.

I have this part but unfortunatly it as a little bent due to one of the bolts that holds it in rusting and the fact it needed a crowbar to remove it.

If you want it your more than welcome, as I dont need it anymore.

Ubiquity - You say you have one of these parts?
Installation Kit: 82 11 1 469 203
Bracket: 82 11 1 468 292
or
65 12 8 360 671 (bracket)
07 11 9 915 013 (bolts x4)

This weekend I took pictures of my Pioneer (BMW) CD Changer unit. Note that the CD access is from the short side of the unit compared to the correct Alpine unit (shown in Tyler's Gallery) which has access from the long side.http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...00&ppuser=3037
