Can you post or link to pics? Are you talking about painting the fabric/seats?? Spray painting the interior will destroy all resale value (and all respect from me- just kidding). Seriously. Be patient. They do come available. Is your interior gray and beige? Mine was a sea of gray till I added black mats, black shift and brake boots, chrome rings, door handles. It helped a lot. Consider other options and you'll come out ahead. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 10-20-2004, 04:15 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: camp lejeune Posts: 49 | no im just trying to paint the plastic on the door panels and the inside cause i totally hate it | | | 10-23-2004, 11:57 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Harrisburg, PA Posts: 94 | Vinyl Dye There's special "paint" to spray vinyl and plastic trim with. Pep Boys has cans of black in flat, semi-gloss, or gloss for under $10. You need to prep the area with alcohol or other solvent and 000-Steel wool or other mild abrasive. Nobody will ever know it's "painted". Or call your local upholstery guy and they'll probably do it for under $100 for the whole car. Used car dealers do this all the time to freshen up the existing color... | | | 11-08-2004, 02:22 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: East Coast Posts: 89 | I will sell mine. They are all black! Talk about being patient, it took me 4 years to find a set. | | | 12-14-2004, 03:02 AM | #6 | Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: camp lejeune Posts: 49 | how much u want for it?? | | | 12-14-2004, 11:16 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Pomfret Ct Posts: 277 | if you are spraying it get the kit, i did it on a e30 with a german made kit, it even flexes and everything. it's not ricing as long as yui take your time and pick a color like black. | | | 12-14-2004, 11:20 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: camp lejeune Posts: 49 | already did, and it looks better than the original what im trying to figure out now is how to paint the dash. I would like doing the same thing. Any experience from anyone else would be a big help. __________________ Love my ti | | | 07-11-2005, 07:56 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | i am glad i paid approx £1k more for the black exterior/interior. makes a whole lotta difference. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
