Default Passenger air bag RHD vs LHD

Hi all

Are the passenger air bag modules the same part for LHD and RHD cars? Realoem suggests they are the same (part number 72128244986, for October 1996 build date) but I’m not sure. Thanks

Why do you need one?

Most passenger airbag errors are caused by the occupancy sensor (which should be bypassed/jumped due to cost of new sensor and frequency with which they fail)

But if you look up a US spec car, and a UK spec car, and they show the same part number, it is. The cross-reference chart is okay, but I've come across a few errors here and there.

Because the car I bought had its module removed.

Good to know the part number lists are reliable. Cheers
