Default May/June Meet

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I've been around here but now that the semester's over (or will be on the 13th), I can finally have fun and enjoy my beautiful ti once again.

So... who wants to meet up in either late May or sometime in June? I'm happy going anywhere in the NJ/eastern PA/southern NY region. Any suggestions?

Here are days I can't go: May 17, either May 24/25 or May 31/June 1 (I forget but I'll find out).

Last time I went to a meet around here was at Washington Crossing State Park near Trenton, NJ. According to Gov. Corzine's plan, that park will now be closed, so I'm not sure if we can do it there.

Going:
1. pnosker
2. DueceMcCracken (maybe?)
3. marko
4. TT Racing
5. Ji Money (maybe?)
6. D Nasty
7. ssprint
8. jeff318

3PM on June 14th Here:

355 Washington Crossing PE Rd, Titusville, NJ for you GPSers.

Come on up to a MA again. Last time we didn't get to meet up.

I've just been doing the whole college thing, you know... I had some tough classes, and my finals are from the 8th to the 13th (so I'm not REALLY back home yet). I go to school at Rutgers University in NJ... I was only in Taiwan for a week for spring 2007 haha... But thanks. I'll try to make it up to MA this summer.

cooljess76:
Thanks! Things are good, just trying to keep in the pre-med track here. I have to say calculus really sucks (it's much harder than in high school). The Ti's running well, there's a pesky air leak or something (says my dad) which I'll try to check out this summer. It has had a few changes. Firstly, I swapped a Bosal BroSpeed for my ANSA and it sounds fantastic. There appears to be a little bit of surface rust after every couple of weeks but it rubs right off with my hand. The door/rear quarter that was hit by some driver under the influence was replaced after someone hit it while parked. Their insurance covered it so it was all good. It was also around $5,000... which almost totalled the car. Swapped my summer wheels/tires on over spring break and replaced the C33 that it had before with a used CD43 (which is MUCH better). Sirius sent me a new radio for free that has an orange backlight instead of the annoying blue one that my previous unit had. It makes it MUCH easier to see in the dark now without blinding myself.

My hopes for this summer are to earn enough money to get a DASC or suspension swap. It's an amazing car, with around 44 mpg with careful driving. It now has around 123k miles (I bought it in Sept 06 with 93k on it). Before I went off to school we did a cooling system overhaul (but didn't replace those two plastic things that apparently break often since I couldn't figure out how to get the lower intake mani off in time for school) and replaced all the speakers except front midrange and tweeters.

I see you have two ti's now? Awesome... I'm envious!!

I'm game. I live right by Trenton but PA side of the Delaware river a wee bit North. So yeah... Where is this going down?

I can make it, but I either need several weeks notice or do it on a sunday. Saturdays are usually really busy for me.. and I work "on demand" so I hate turning down work

Thumbs up I'm down

hey guys - I'm new to the forum. Recently picked up a '98 Ti. I also own a 2000 528i and used to own a 97 318is so I'm not new to BMWs. I'm just over the border in PA off of rt78. Let me know if you guys decide on a date and time. I think Sundays would be best but let me know either way.

Hey dudes...I'm down in MD, but literally all my friends from university live in north Jersey. If the meet stays in Jersey, E. PA, or S. NY I'll make the drive up for it and visit them while I'm at it. Keep us posted!

Well How bout we have it at Washington's Crossing park, PA side. Nice chill enviorment, a really badass pizza shop close by and some history(if your into that stuff, lol) Right on the delaware river so it's mad easy to find.

You guys down? I can be there any weekend at any time. What are your schedules like?

Alright Washington's Crossing sounds good to me. And yeah, I love Nicola's pizza in Lambertville which is close (we went there after the meet last time) and there are tons of others. Sunday is fine for me, around 4 or 5 PM maybe. Someone want to let L84THSKY know? He's always been eager for the meets.

Default Me Too

I'd like Mid June. I'm jammed up this weekend and the following (Father's day). I think the following 3 Sundays (15th, 22nd, 29th) would be good.
