Default rear anti-roll bar link trouble.

i've a 95' with m-tech suspension, i couldnt get my old link off so i had to hacksaw it off.
has anyone any idea how to get the new one on!?!? there's absolutely no room back there to hammer it on. should i have to take out the coil spring?
need some help here dudes its like a horse havin' a go at a chicken. tight!

help, please, someone must have changed a rear roll bar link before, eh? what can i use to search the forum, arb link/s, anti-roll link? cant find anythin'.

cheers killa, still that wont work cos' i have the mtech 16mm bar and the links, which are listed for both std(14mm) and m-tech, just wont simply twist on with a bit of lube. : (

i dont even know if the width of the end of the bar is the same for all. i might have to try some m coupe 19mm links, but then there might be some play?
