He covers a lot of classic bands too and adds a jazzy touch. Love to listen to it in my ti, so relaxing! highly reccomended ALso....Foo Fighters when im in the mood for something "plugged in" | | | 10-07-2005, 12:59 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | Jackson Browne.....of course Quote: Originally Posted by maxt I'd have to go with John Pizzarelli He's one of the most talented jazz performers out there. But I have found my new love of music, the badn Great Big Sea. It is very irishy and celtic, i suggest you download "the old black rum" by them... my favorite __________________ RIP Tonka Hitlerietta 08/03/04 - 01/25/05 | | | 10-08-2005, 02:41 PM | #7 | Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Iowa Posts: 54 | hey, weird, you like Great Big Sea? If im not mistaken , thats the bank from way way eastern Canada. Great band. Im going to give a try to a few of the bands/performers that were listed in this thread. I love getting into new music. So does every TI have an amplifier? Im just wondering if it was an option...I cant believe how incredible the sound is in my TI, even with a tape player. I just got some high bias tapes and I cant believe it, they sound just like cd's. There's a little bit of hissing, but the lows are really low and the highs are clear. | | | 10-08-2005, 05:18 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Virginia Posts: 247 | Rock: Stone Temple Pilots But when I am driving fast, I prefer to listen to techno... __________________ Silver 98 318ti Standard trans, Sport Package: 16" Stock Wheels, Foglamps, Sunroof, Heated Leather Seats, Bilstein performance shocks, OEM Sach's clutch kit, Dunlop SP Sport A2 225/50/16 tires, Alpine CDA 7894, Dual Rockford Fosgate 12" subs, Rockford Fosgate Amp, Leather Armrest, Replaced M44 engine with only 40k on it! http://www.geocities.com/evalha/bmwsmaller.JPG | | | 11-02-2005, 08:21 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: New Jersey Posts: 363 | Quote: Originally Posted by maxt hey, weird, you like Great Big Sea? I was trying to download "its the end of the world as we know it" by REM, but instead downloaded their cover of the song which is ten times better than REM's. I tried to download some more of their music, and just fell in love with it. It is funny music, very celtic but with a rock twist. Again, Great Big Sea, download them ... "The Old Black Rum, Run Run Away, Donkey Riding, I'm a Rover" any of them are great... To the guy who said Tim McGraw, "Live like you were dying" and "Gin and juice" are two of my fave songs... especially "gin and juice" its hilarious __________________ RIP Tonka Hitlerietta 08/03/04 - 01/25/05 | | | 10-08-2005, 05:39 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Rammstein and Tiesto are always in the CD player | | | 10-15-2005, 01:44 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: A few tenths ahead of alaskablue Posts: 265 | I don't have a 318ti yet, but I always have at least 1 chili pepper's cd in the truck at all times.
