No rust on the car but clear coat is peeling in a couple of spots on the hood and along the back bumper. Lots of little chips on the front bumper and hood. Everything mostly works with the exception of the back light on the stock stereo, front speakers, locks are starting to act up and sometimes you need to push in the key in the ignition to get it to catch (might just need new keys made and coded). The check engine light comes on at idle but goes away with any RPMs over 1000 (I chased a similar problem down a year ago and it was a vacuum issue). Small oil leak that Mondino Imports in Colorado Springs identified about 18 months ago but is very minimal (have never even had to add oil in between oil changes) and they suggested not bothering with it. The interior door panel needs some clips replaced. Car currently has snow tires on the original aluminum rims—2 of these are bent and are difficult to balance so the car has a small vibration in the steering wheel at low speeds. Passenger side seat needs reclining cable replaced (have cable). Remote locks don’t work. And lastly the windshield needs to be replaced. Car was involved in a minor accident with the wall in my garage back in 1999 and hood was replaced along with some minor pieces between the bumper and hood. Car also came with LSD but that went bad at about 190,000 so I replaced it with a normal differential. Kelley Blue Book for fair condition is $1,665 so $1,200 seems about right. Car has a clean carfax report. | | | 11-12-2009, 06:49 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Denver Posts: 373 | Email sent via craigslist.
