 WI aquired a new project
I am new to BMW but have quite a bit of experience working with other cars. I own a few vehicles other then BMW like a 88 chrysler conquest among other things. I am aquiring a 95 318ti in trade for some work I am doing. The story is that the anti-theft is preventing the car from starting. I already have done a bit of research and it seems this is very viable. Now this car isnt in great shape and in its current state I don't find it viable to go to bmw and spend a bunch of money fixing up the EWS system so I am planning on taking the alternative route of bypassing the whole system. After i get it going I know i will be eventually be looking for decient interior parts that are either missing or junk. Seat are horrible and it needs driver's door panel and it looks like window switches are gone along with a radio. Its fairly rough but really for the work I am trading for it its not very much. I never owned one of these and always wanted too. But if your in midwest and fairly local with parts I may eventually be interest so let me know. I don't want to deal with the hefty shipping on big items i need. I guess I could just throw in racing seats and call it good too. I will get pics up soon. Nice to be onboard and I plan on utilizing the site for questions I may have on a type of car i never tinkered with. Later |
