Default spare tire help

haha, i know im gonna sound stupid for posting this, but when i bought my car, the spare came in the trunk, just sitting there under the carpet, i know it needs to be mounted underneath, but i think im missing peices according to the instructions. and i need more trunk spacee, im sick of this spare in the back.

aaaaanyways, so i was wondering if there is a writeup somewhere on how to put it away, or what i'll need, or if there is anything else i could buy/use to safely put my spare away ?

any info appreciated.

thanks.
