You probably could remove it and paint it. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-24-2008, 02:06 AM | #3 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | IIRC Panzer_M swapped his out, but Marv I really don't think they'll light up with the blue LED mod. The LED's don't produce enough light to light up the red. Even if you put a clear LED behind each of the needles, you'ld still have the white light bleeding into the rest of the cluster. You should just clean that red marker off and leave them white. They'll light up blue like the rest of the cluster. AND POST PICS TONIGHT!!! Use a tripod, turn the ISO up and use the timer on your camera. I stayed up until 1:30 working on that damn thing and I want to show it off! __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 08-24-2008, 04:08 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | will do. did. done. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! There are sadly no loose P/Ns for the clusters . only e34 clusters are available in loose items iirc, and i doubt the needles are retro mountable. __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free !
