I can't wait to meet him on the board. They probably won't even let him drive. But it sounds hopeful that he'll have his job back and it's only 3 miles from the hwh so he should be go to go. As long as he can pay his rent and restitution and stay compliant he should be out of there and home with an ankle bracelet by November. At least he'll get day passes so we can see each other...lol | | | 07-02-2011, 04:51 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Great news! I was so convinced he wouldn't get accepted (based on past experience) that I really didn't believe it. He is totally bouncing off the walls! I went to my mom's and got his shorts, pumas and anything else he'll need. I already have his razor and stuff here ready to go. Once he gets moved, I can drop his clothes and things off for him. It's exciting but it will be hard to concentrate for the next couple of weeks. Unlike mandatory release, he'll get moved when a bed opens up so we really have no idea how long it will take. But it's way better than waiting another 18 months! | | | 07-02-2011, 05:11 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Terrific! __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-02-2011, 05:22 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | that's awesome news, so good to hear that he's finally making some good progress getting out of there | | | 07-02-2011, 06:16 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | wait, what, who? __________________ 96 Schwartz II 318ti M-Sport with M44 *SOLD* 95 Hellrot Red 318ti with S52 Swap (Mine) 94 Boston Green 325i Saloon with M50TU (Hers) 68 White VW Bus Camper (Parts Bus) 71 Pink VW Bus Westfalia (The fixer upper) | | | 07-02-2011, 06:31 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: South Central, MN Posts: 1,065 | I just want to say I'm happy for you and Sean. I don't know either of you but I have followed the threads you've shared updating Sean's progress for quite a while. I wish you both the best. The days are getting brighter __________________ | | | 07-02-2011, 06:38 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Rocky Mountains Posts: 610 | Thanks you guys! You all rock! It's been a long 37 almost 38 months (yes it's really been 3 years) but hopefully this will finally be over with. Colorado's been making a lot changes to their prison system, it's been hard to get people to change because they want to appear tough on crime. Only problem is people are getting locked up for the dumbest things and it's killing state budgets nationwide. It's also tearing families apart and leaving a lot of kids without their parents. I really hope that Sean can make it through parole here once he's on it. The halfway house just means he's still an inmate but in a community re-entry setting with a parole officer supervising him. He's done really, really well and I expect the same from him in the halfway house. Hopefully it won't be long until he has his much love Ti back and in running shape. Eric still has it stored at his house (with much gratitude from us) and I know Eric is happily planning time with Sean that they can work on their cars...lol. As always your posts warm my heart and Sean's too! Thank you so much for being there for us! | | | 07-02-2011, 07:05 AM | #11 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by kuleinc wait, what, who? | teetime4one That's wonderful news Cindy Lou! Right now he's without his sunroof, we need to replace all the plastic parts (as usual). Remember the twit that bought it at the police auction broke the motor. So we've taken that apart. There's a couple of other issues as well so I'll have Eric post what Zippy's needing to have done. It's not a lot, he still runs but having parts helps! | | | 07-04-2011, 04:13 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Rocky Mountains Posts: 610 | I had to laugh at Sean when he called tonight. He's planning his first meal out which I have to take to him at the halfway house (first I have to find out if it's ok). Any suggestions? lol | | | 07-04-2011, 04:27 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Great news for both of you! Then we have to find out how everything else works. I'm excited that's for sure! And you know I can't wait for him to see Baby Boy Gizmo, his little shih tzu...lol! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
