I did it today, it took a total of 5 hours from start to finish. I don't know if I'll see an increase in power, but it sure looks pretty! I really smoothed them out so air will flow better. I used an adjustable dremel tool with a flex shaft, 60 and 80 grit sand paper rolls, and 120 grit flap wheels. I ran the parts through the dishwasher when I was done for that oh-so-clean look. One of the local shops is having a dyno day on May 13th so I'll see what I get for hp after the rebuild. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 04-27-2006, 12:35 AM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT Next week sometime. I'm having a hard time saying "done" with the car, so I keep putting it off until I'm "done". I've recently discovered it will never end... __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 04-27-2006, 04:32 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Houston, TX Posts: 40 | nice job. look forward to the dyno numbers. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
