When I bought my '98 TI in the spring of '98, the dealer actually thought it was the last year available ... then I saw some '99's and got pissed off. M-steering wheel and side airbags... grrr. | | | 08-15-2005, 02:56 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | When I was still looking for a Ti, I was considering a 1999 that was for sale. The car was in excellent shape, and had 67K miles. My concerns were the inflated price the BMW dealership wanted, and the fact that a male college student owned it. In the end, I opted for the 1998 with 31K miles and was female owned. The reality is that now I am spending alot of money adding the extras that the 1999 had, and my 1998 didn't.
