Default Feeler/FS: 95 Club Sport

No real plan on selling it but I've been looking at picking up an M3 so I was seeing what I'd be able to sell my ti for.

Its a 95 Club Sport with 125,XXX miles. Completely stock besides from clear tail lights, clear corners and djauto hid headlights but still have all the stock parts. Body is in good shape but has a few tiny rust spots and one small ding on the passenger door. Overall I'd give the exterior a 8/10. The interior is also in good shape. The 2 front seats are a little bit worn but still in good condition without any rips or tares. I would give interior a 8/10 also. Mechanically I'd say its a 7/10. Right now it is running smoothly and is a reliable car but it is 14 years old. I've had the car for over 4 years now and I've put about 25,000 miles on it and its been serviced regularly.

Problems:
-Driver's side window isn't working (it is currently locked closed)
-The display on the aftermarket stereo system the previous owner put in no longer works. There is a remote that it comes with so I'm still able to switch stations and control volume
-Headliner is sagging

Ill get some pics up tonight. Lemme know what you think the cars worth.
Thanks

What do you think would be a good asking price? $4000?

I don't like to comment on for sale threads, but I wouldn't consider rust and body damage to be 8/10. I'd consider normal paint chips on the hood and a few door dings to be 8/10.
Same for the interior. Needs a headliner, window doesn't work. Needs a radio.

Good luck with the sale though.
$4000 doesn't seem that unreasonable although anyone buying the car has some repairs right off the bat.

$4k would be a good price, do you know why the ABS light is on?

BTW, I have rust in those two areas as well as the driver's shock tower too (obviously more money) and my cost to repair is $1180... getting fixed this week. Just for reference. I'm not really even sure it's worth fixing but I like my car too much to see it rust away.

Edit: I Should also add I paid twice that for my car... with 125k (but with a dasc, suspension, and more).

4k? Possibly.....that would be up to the buyers and their Idea of worth.(ahem) I've seen Milpoint Red Interior for sale at 1k alone on this site. Aside from some fixes...you may come close to your asking price.

Good luck with the sale. I love hellrot paint BTW.

(psssssss)....
I would keep it, and purchase a donor for your swap. part it out, and make some side dough. put it in to the ti and spank some M3 ass...and ask them "who's your daddy"?

Check out clex2's ti and you will change your mind. IMO

Thanks for the input,

I agree that the exterior and interior are by all means not perfect but in my opinion they are both in relatively good shape. And I'm not sure why the ABS light is on. I think its been on since I purchased the car or at least as long as i can remember. I'm going to look at another car this weekend and if it looks good I might be selling the ti. If anyone is interested in coming to take a look or a drive or just wants more info send me a pm. I'm looking to get around $4k but am willing to be a little flexible.

You may want to look into the ABS problem first.
A shop can scan the codes.
Could be as simple as a dirty ABS sensor.

If for some reason you get down to NJ, I'm happy to scan all of your codes including airbag.

A common ABS failure on 95s is the circuit board connector flexing and breaking. If it comes back as a pump failure, that is probably what it is. You can have the pump re-wired pretty cheaply, and the labor would probably cost more if you paid a shop to do it.
