ahhh, gotcha. you're best bet might just be to look around for a junkyard just because this is a funny thing to have an extra of laying around

I'm also in need of a seat belt holder. Pelican has them for $129.75 (part #72-11-8-164-934-BOE) but that is too much for a seat belt receiver.

What does BOE mean?
Tischer BMW has it for 103.60. And that is a GENUINE BMW PART.

I'm not sure. Its the part number listed on Pelican's site.
Lazoh has the hook up with a local (SoCal) wholesale parts seller. They carry OEM genuine BMW parts. I'll see if he can get me in and we could get them through Lazoh's super secret hook up.

$103.60 is 20% off BMW MSRP. Usually free shipping.
Use that as baseline.

seems like this could very easily be a good "fit in your pocket" deal at a local yard...

fyi e30 belts are the same... not sure if they have a switch or not but i do know for a fact that the e36 belt clips into the e30 receiver.
