I stored away my 98 black cali top for the winter. I still have the 97 avus blau m52 swap to run around in winter if need be. I'm finishing up some things on that as well.

Installed new headlights, front splitter, rear glass lip and spent a little time on the engine light issue. Also got a blutooth wireless adapter for the BusinessCD factory radio. A total whore to install but worth it. Even has mic for phone and controls iPhone calls from radio face.

So I was doing some serious suspension upgrades on my E30 when I discovered some very troubling damage to the brake hoses and tie rods. So instead of drifting this weekend the car is parked. So because I was bored I decided to pull the M3 Vaders out of the E30 and put them in my 318ti. Garbage picture, but I'll get good ones soon. I like the way they look, despite the mismatched color. So I think I'll keep them in the car for a while.

I also picked up some Hella Rally lights from my friend for dirt cheap. I have two of them but could only hold up one and take a picture. Hopefully will be installing those this weekend, but they'll be mounted on the front bumper with some bracing behind, and wired to a switch in the cabin. So here's a teaser picture I guess. It'll look cool when it's done, I promise.

In my swap ti I put some Vaders in that I restored. I love them. I've been trying to find some black interior to match in the back but I'm now considering taking the back out and making a cargo shelf so to say so I have a big back trunk.

I've had these Vaders for about a year in my E30, I love the seats but never in that car. They sat way too high. In my ti they're perfect. I've been on the fence about doing a rear seat delete, but I end up needing them at least once a week. I don't think I'll bother with a full interior change, I don't think the black seats look that out of place overall.

Yea I agree the more I think about. If I was going to make it match then I should do something about the dash too (all or nothing). Too much work and money. If anything I'd just make the seats match in color if I do.

I have black Vaders in my black sport. IMHO, go for black seats in back. Console and side panels are fine. Black rear seats and bolsters are easy to come across.

My "I will not modify the ti any more" mentality has long since been ditched at this point. I wasn't too happy with the stock sound system. It had an aftermarket stereo, but no bluetooth or USB, so it had to go.

I scored a cheap subwoofer and amp off a friend of mine. It actually is the same system that I pulled out of my E30 two years ago. He bought it, stored it in a closet for two years, and I bought it back. It doesn't look great, but it was cheap.

Still tracking down this misfire though. That has to be resolved before I do anything else.

My business cd radio was (I thought) working great until I discovered the rear speakers I thought were blown are actually receiving a crappy, staticky signal. I changed out the drivers side rear speaker expecting to see an old nasty stock speaker but found an awesome Focal replacement! My new cheapo RF replacement sounds no better so time to replace the head unit. I had just added the blutooth adapter and it is working flawlessly ( for those who saw the item and wondered how it functioned) so I am disappointed to have to remove it all.

Let's see, since buying my ti in October:

- New differential cover
- New mirrors
- New front control arms
- New oil filter housing gasket and bush
- New motor mounts
- New transmission mounts

More to do, but hoping to get through the winter without having to tackle more projects.

^that car looks badass!!

I've been working well over 60 hours/week and have been sick multiple times the last few months. Finally got the chance to do an oil change yesterday (and ate Chinese food). Up next - a full detail, possibly coolant flush.

This thread is motivating.
