Default Oil leak by head gasket

well my car developed a small oil leak i went under seems to be from the head gasket on the rear part of the engine!

happened after I did a oil change with 10w-30 instead of 40 it was my first so i didnt know but i had not seen any leaks before!

do you guys think it was the oil weight? I just changed it back to 40

No way is the oil viscosity responsible.

You probably just spilled some oil when you added it. No way changing oil is going to cause a leak in the head gasket. Check that the oil filter is screwed in tight, and that the drain plug is tight.
