Default jimzinawants information

HI every one. I have a 1998 318ti mspec that I totally love. But as you may agree, the m44 is not the most powerful engine. I'm interested in putting in a M3 V8. Has anyone out there tried to do this? The wife likes the idea. Any advice? I am going to run a website when I start this mission ( and other things engineering ) to serve as a diary. Put the combo together and go beat up some skylines on the race tracks ( nz has many for a little country ). Has anyone done this swap? Thanx

I think you mean a 6cyl M3 the V8 would be a M5, the M5 transplant is going to be somewhere north of 12K.
