Strut Bar So who else is interested in doing a custom 4 point strut bar? I dont remember how much harold said it will be but its not more than $200. Also, i think harold said the guy wont be back until the beg or end of february. Plenty of time to save up. So who else wants one? 1.) Lazoh 2.) The x-brace will help you a LOT more than a strut brace will. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 01-07-2008, 03:53 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT I don't think strut braces really do much on our cars. Does he do these kinds of things often? It'd be interesting to see if he has any engineering background to ensure it's actually functional and not just for decoration. Sorry to sound so skeptical, just want to lay out the obvious. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . Lazoh knows the guy, not me. Lazoh, this is the same guy that did your roll cage right? | | | 01-07-2008, 04:03 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: 909-281 Posts: 233 | dude the brace is going to cost like 350- 400 each and thats if he feels like makeing them hes really busy with the E30 race cars also i buy one nah i already have one. Anything else is just eye candy. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-07-2008, 04:37 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by saintse36 dude the brace is going to cost like 350- 400 each and thats if he feels like makeing them hes really busy with the E30 race cars also i buy one nah i already have one. He has a 2002 with the 4 point strut brace and according to a few people this type of set-up helps. I hope he comes trough for us since he is very busy and the 4 point is a small job for him at $200.00. I will keep you posted HuGo. | | | 01-09-2008, 09:24 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: 909-281 Posts: 233 | a man hows the iphone working also i have a small water leak some where on my car need help finding it peace __________________ SOLD so sad..... | | | 01-09-2008, 09:46 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | I sure hope you guys buy the factory x-brace first, then do this stuff. | | | 01-09-2008, 10:15 PM | #14 | doesn't care about you.
