Actually it wasnt even a joke because the joke was wrong

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

I had this old Jeep once. I never once washed it the whole time I owned it. I beat the hell out of it, jumping it, rockcrawling, mudding, you name it. The engine was great, never leaked or burnt a drop of oil. The coolant level never moved and it fired up eagerly. However every time I took it out something would break, but it was so easy to work on and I usually had it fixed in a day or two. I got pulled over on a daily basis because my tires stuck out kinda far(35" Boggers) but I had home made fender flares and mud flaps that I used to get the CHP to sign the tickets and off they went. After a few years of tickets, broken u-joints, differentials, transfercases and numerous odds and ins, I decided that it wasn't a practical daily driver. Not to mention I was killing the environment with the HO 4 liter, 4:56 gears and 35X14.5" tires. I spent about a week detailing it and I have to admit that the thought of letting it go really made me sad. My dog loved that thing and it had so much character. We were a perfect match, but I had to let her go. Anyway, during it's last few days, she started looking purdy again and even started running better. It was as if it was begging me to keep her. I ended up selling her to a guy in San Diego who paid me to drive it down to him. Now I know I wasn't imagining things because it got the best gas mileage ever during that trip and she purred all the way down. My buddy who tagged along for the ride even noticed it. I made it all the way to San Diego on a little over half a tank. The guy gave me $5300 for it and promised not to use it as a daily driver. I bought an Avus Blue base ti for 4800, drove it for two weeks and found the Schwarz Sport on ebay. I won the auction for 4150 and sold the Avus ti to a member for 4 grand. Lost 800 bucks, flew to Michigan and picked up this one. It's still a good car and once the charging system is sorted out it'll be fine. Honestly if I were to sell it, I think I'd get 7500 for it easily. It has a relatively new motor(33k miles) a new cat, new o2 sensors, a new radiator and soon to have another new alternator. I think I'm gonna get a new window regulator next(ebay 70 bucks). I still have plans on doing the 3.2 swap, so the m44 and all the components should fetch me a nice chunk of change.
