Car looks more finished in my opinion. | | | 10-13-2013, 02:26 AM | #3123 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 10-16-2013, 12:59 PM | #3124 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | Picked up a set of ACS 318ti springs for $50. They don't seem as popular as the H&R sports but at that price I figured it was worth a try. That also means I have about all the parts needed to replace my springs and shocks (Bilstein sports). Also will be doing control arms, tie-rods, lollipops, etc at the same time. Should be a noticeable difference in compared to the original stuff I think is still on the car. | | | 10-16-2013, 03:39 PM | #3125 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Not today, but this week so far. Valve cover gasket + spark plugs Air + cabin filters Rear rotors Front + rear pads (Stoptech Street) Brake pads are expensive...they were the most expensive parts in my whole purchase. I'm holding out for the cheap front rotors from Bimmerworld when I buy my control arms and bushings from them. I still need a guibo and the rest of the suspension bushings too which I will get to this summer. | | | 10-21-2013, 01:02 AM | #3129 | Member Join Date: Sep 2013 Location: Summerville, SC Posts: 40 | replaced chipped/ pitted fog lights with a fresh clear aftermarket set | | | 10-26-2013, 09:05 PM | #3130 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Roanoke, VA Posts: 472 | Replaced thermostat and filled up at local gas station that started selling 100%, ethanol free gas. Did anyone else find aftermarket Bosch plugs to be too long (for M42)? It's impossible to get these aftermarket plugs to line up like this: 2. What did everyone else do for this? These wires came unlabeled for "4 cyl BMW" :rollseyes | | | 10-27-2013, 06:35 AM | #3134 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: SF bay Posts: 183 | Smoked my clutch...
