Aw man... that really sucks. :-( The "bright side" is that the tire wasn't 2-3 feet higher in the air. Imagine what it would have done to your windshield!!

That's why I rarely pass a truck until I have room to go all the way past it. I've seen tires explode before and it ain't pretty, even in the best case scenario.

ouch that sucks!
I was just about to PM you to come to the UCI meet tonight too...

I think this situation happened to my car too when my brother had it.
The bottom part of my bumper is cracked, but when I got it, I got the M3 front lip to make it look better and hold it together haha...

Thats sucks man, look on the bright side it could've been alot worse.

About a month ago i was next to an 18 wheeler and the tire blew. It sounded like a gun fight on the highway and scared the crap out of me. Luckily i was next to it and the tire did not come near me.

looks like my insurance is going to have to pay for it. I know it was a Penhall truck but that is no help. There are so many and that is actually a truck Bin maker; not a company. So i let cha know soon!

I've hit two gators on the road, but never hard enough to take off the bumper! Just a few foglights and some plastics.

Make sure nothing hit the radiator on its way out. That could get expensive.

I hit a box in Alabama or somewhere driven back from Nebraska to Florida.\
So tired I didn't even see it. Lucky there was no damage and it was a empty box.

You see i Swerved - but so did the tire. It was something like: Explosion, Flying Tire, Fastest Lane Change in a ti, Bounce(tire), Fastest lane change EVER for a single tire.

In short the tire was bouncing at me 20+mph, im driving like 65. I pulled the wheel and the tire bounced into my trajectory. No way to tell where it was gonna go!

just remember- If u Laugh.......well just read the title!
