I'd rather this great car reside with someone who will use it to its full potential. It has 188,8xx miles. I've had it for just about 4 years and it has run without any mechanical problems. The only big repair I ever had on it was the driver's side window regulator failed, but it was replaced. I have most of the service records (oil changes) and I replaced all the brake pads, discs, and parking brake shoes in October 2011. The only issues with it are cosmetic. There are some tiny dings and scratches on the body. There is a small scrape on the passenger side quarter panel, the headliner drapes, the interior hatch cover is faded and cracked, and the driver's seat has a small tear. Other than that, this clubsport interior is basically immaculate. There are no cracks in the dash and the leather is in great shape. The air conditioning works, it shifts great, and handles wonderfully. I really love this car. I'm not in a hurry to sell it or anything, I just don't really use it that much anymore. I'm asking $5,000 and I'll entertain reasonable offers. I'm in Oakland, California and you can reach me here, by email at dnav89[at]gmail.com or by text at 510-495-0715. What do you guys think it's worth? Feel free to make an offer. | | | 07-30-2013, 10:42 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: SF bay Posts: 183 | cycles... a few months ago everyone was buying, now everyone is repairing. bump on bimmerforums? Transmission fluid hasn't been changed while I've owned it, so I'm not sure Last edited by dnav; 08-01-2013 at 08:00 PM. I'm looking at getting a motorcycle, so if anyone wants to straight up trade for a newish small displacement sport bike (CBR/SV/Ninja, etc.) we could talk about that too. | | | 08-01-2013, 08:22 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 513 | I don't think that you are too far off on price, expecting to be talked down, of course. I've seen people ask for that kind of money with seemingly more beat and tampered with examples. Of course I live in the PNW where the dollar seems to depreciate markedly in comparison to the rest of the country. I call it the "Microsoft effect". http://salem.craigslist.org/cto/3912510758.html ...For comparison, this guy is wanting $5k. It sounded beat. GLWS. I ride a Suzuki V-strom (DL-650). You should have a look at them. Very versitile and it wont kill you. | | | 08-01-2013, 08:26 PM | #12 | Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Irvine, CA Posts: 56 | Quote: Originally Posted by BRADESTAR I don't think that you are too far off on price, expecting to be talked down, of course. I do like the V-strom actually, thanks for the tip! | | | 08-03-2013, 12:36 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 513 | Well.....I wouldn't be able to head your way any time soon. I've been looking for a Cali-top, but if you were closer I think we'd deal. Interested in road trip to Seattle? You can ride a grey non-abs '07 v-strom back in style! (around 17K miles) I'd miss it, but just bought a foreclosure and have had no time for stromming. | | | 08-19-2013, 12:43 AM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: SF,CA Posts: 1 | Is this still available?
